Piston Rod Gland

Assemble

1) Put the two distance pieces (94345B) on the platform. Make sure that the distance

pieces touch the piston rod (21).

2) On the rings, make sure that the the word TOP points up.
3) Put the three parts of the first ring support (5) on the distance pieces with scraper

rings (6) installed. Make sure that the distances are equal.

4) Use the assembly tools (94345E, see

9403

−

) to install the tension spring (10).

5) Put the two distance pieces (94345F, 8 mm) on to the ring supports.
6) Install the second ring support, scraper rings and tension spring (10) .

The height of distance pieces (94345F)is related to the web height of the ring

grooves in the housing (1).
