SECTION 10 –
SLIDEOUT ROOMS
If help is available, a second person cranking
on the other handle simultaneously will
greatly speed up the process.
•
Crank the room in until it is just “snugged up”.
Do not over-crank or you could damage the
gear assembly.
•
Press the electric brake lever back into
engaged position to secure brake.
•
Fasten the travel lock rod before driving the
vehicle.
•
See your dealer for service of the slideout
mechanism before using again.
Accessing the Motor/Gear
Assembly
Model 25T
•
Remove oval access panel inside front driver
side compartment.
Model 25R
•
Remove rear bed mattress.
•
Remove bed frame/panel assembly by
removing bolts around the perimeter of the
bed.
•
Flip up partitian cabinet lid and remove access
panel below.
•
Below are two motor/gear assembly covers.
Remove screws and lift off the panel on each.
NOTE: When manually retracting the slideroom,
rotate back and forth between the two
motor/gear assemblies to ensure even
retraction.
GENERAL SLIDEOUT CARE
•
Wipe outer seals occasionally with talc or 303
brand protectant for smooth quiet operation.
•
Clean the floors inside before retracting the
room to avoid vinyl flooring scratches or
carpet pile snags.
•
See your authorized dealer for regular
maintenance and service of the slideout
mechanism.
NOTICE
Never crank one side more than 2 inches
(50 mm) ahead of the other while
retracting or extending.
