SECTION 6 –
ELECTRICAL
when not connected to shoreline power.
The inverter can also be used while
driving the motorhome because the
engine alternator will charge the battery
while driving.
The inverter has built in GFCI protection. The
GFCI will protect against electrical shock by
interrupting the flow of electricity. If there is no
power from the inverter the GFCI may have
tripped. Reset the GFCI by pressing the RESET
button. If the GFCI continues to trip, have the
electrical system checked and repaired, if
necessary, before using the inverter again.
Inverter Control Panel
The inverter has a wall-mounted monitor/
control panel. It will also indicate warnings for
overload conditions or other operating failure
conditions.
See “Pure
3
DC System (Volta)” in this section
for further operating instructions.
When the inverter is not being used, it should
be shut off at the control panel. The inverter
could drain the Pure
3
power source if the
shoreline is not connected to external power.
Further Information
Refer to the manufacturer’s user guide
provided in your InfoCase for complete operating
instructions and charging setup directions.
POWER CENTER
(Converter)
The power converter is located beneath the
right bed cabinet.
The power converter changes the Pure
3
DC
source into 12-volt DC current for use by 12-volt
equipment in the motorhome.
NOTE: The converter will not change 12-volt
DC current to 120-volt AC.
NOTICE
Do not store items around the inverter
unit. The inverter generates heat while
operating and needs unrestricted airflow
for proper cooling. Damage to the inverter
can result.
