Congratulations on purchasing The Wilson
™
Jini Recorder, a state-of-the-art digital voice
recorder. The following are instructions for its use:
1. Description of controls:
Hold the Wilson(TM) Mini Recorder so that the key ring is located at the upper right corner. There are five
buttons located on the front surface of theWilson(TM) Mini Recorder arranged in two rows.
(A). The left button on the top row is the VOLume button.
(B). The right button on the top row is the Check Message (CM) button.
(C) . The left button on the bottom row is the RECord button.
(D). The middle button on the bottom row is the PLfY/STOP button.
(E.) The right button on the bottom row is the DELete button.
On the right edge of the Wilson(TM) Mini Recorder is the charging cable connector. Below the charging
cable connector is the ON/OFF switch. Slide the O /OFF switch up for ON and slide the ON/OFF switch
down for OFF.

Mini Recorder does not consume batt, ry power while it is idle, however, you may wish to
switch
off
the Wilson
™
Mini Recorder to prevent acci1ental recording or playback.
2. Charging the battery:
The Wilson(TM) Mini Recorder comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. Before using the
Wilson(TM) Mini Recorder, you mustfullychargethe battery for at least eight hours.
There are several ways to charge the battery:
(A). Connect your Wilson
™
Mini Recorder to your computer using the charging cable (included). Connect
the smaller end of the charging cable to the Wilson(TM) Mini Recorder and the larger end of the charging
cable into a USB port on your computer.
(B). Connect yourWilson
™
Mini Recorder to the charger for your mobile phone. Disconnect the cable from
your mobile phone charger, then connect the charging cable for the Wilson(TM) Mini Recorder to your
mobile phone charger.
(C). Connect yourWilson
™
Mini Recorder to an AC outlet in your home using the charging cable (included).
You will need a charging cube converter.
The red LED indicator stays ON continuosly while charging is in progress. Once the battery is fully charged,
the red LED indicator will switch
Off.
You may charge the battery while the Wilson
™
Mini Recorder is
switched
Off
or while it is in use. Recharge the battery when the voice quality is reduced during message
playback. Recharge the battery for at least eight hours once every six months.
3. Recording:
Set the power On/Off switch to the On position. To record, press the RECord button. After you hear a beep,
speak in the direction of The Wilson
™
Mini Recorder. A red LED !indicator will flash, indicating that the
device is recording. To stop recording, press the Play/Stop button. TheWilson(TM) Mini Recorder will beep
twice, indicating that the recording has stopped.
If the memory is full, The Wilson
™
Mini Recorder will automatically delete the oldest message. You can
record messages up to a combined total length of two (2) hours.
4. Play Back:
To play back your messages, press the Play/Stop button. To stop playback, press the Play/Stop button
while playing a message. Once a message has been played back in its entirety, The Wilson
T
" Mini Recorder
will beep once and the red LED indicator will flash once.
If more than one message has been recorded, The Wilson
TM
Mini Recorder will play back the most recently
recorded message first. Each time the Play/Stop button is pressed thereafter, The Wilson
™
Mini Recorder
will play all recorded messages in reverse chronological order(newestto oldest).
