3.4.2.3 Operate the RCP and Lights
All RCP, AUX and Light functions are prohibited by the control until the mast has reached the
fully extended height. Attempts to pan and tilt the RCP while at an intermediate height are
prohibited by the control to protect the lights or payload from crashing into the vehicle while
deploying or retracting. The RCP and Lights will become active when the mast reaches the fully
extended (90°) position. The Look-Up Light will illuminate while the RCP and Lights are in
motion.
The RCP is a single-tilt RCP, meaning both banks of lights tilt up and down together. The left
and right light banks are toggle on and off independently. Alternative payloads for the Inflexion
HD can be used similarly on either or both light circuits.
To pan and tilt the lights:
Press and hold the Pan Right
button to turn the lights to the right
Press and hold the Pan Left
button to turn the lights to the left
Press and hold the Tilt Down
button to tilt the lights down
Press and hold the Tilt Up
button to tilt the light up
Note: When the mast is initially extended, the:
RCP can only pan in one direction
Lights can only tilt down
There are two Light
buttons on the HHRC. Each on operates one bank of lights. To operate
the lights, press the Light
buttons to toggle the light banks on and off. These can also be
used for other payload applications for Inflexion HD (or the AUX circuits).
3.4.2.4 Operate the Auxiliary Devices
Depending on the Mast System configuration, there may be additional auxiliary devices such as
strobe lights or cameras. System power is disable to auxiliary devices until the mast has
reached the fully extended (90°) position.
To operate the auxiliary devices:
Press the AUX 1
button to toggle auxiliary 1 on and off
Press the AUX 2
button to toggle auxiliary 2 on and off
