E START/STOP button
The START/STOP button starts or terminates a programme. The continuously flashing colon
in the LCD time display indicates that the programme has been activated.
Protection against
incorrect input:
Once a programme has been started, all other control buttons will remain blocked until the
baking process has finished, or until the START/STOP button has been pressed for a
minimum of 2 seconds.
When pressing any control button, wait until the correct input is acknowledged by a beep
signal before releasing the button.
F Loaf weight
Baking programmes 1-4 allow for a pre-selection of the loaf size. The selected weight is
indicated, i.e. underlined, on the LCD-display.
HOW TO MAKE BREAD
Step 1: Open the Lid and remover the Bread Pan.
Step 2: Position the Kneading Paddle on the Drive Shaft. Match the flat side of the Drive Shaft to
the flat part of the hole in Kneading Paddle. Make sure the paddle is secure.
Step 3: Add ingredients into the bread pan. For best result, add all liquid ingredients first.
Then, add all dry ingredients Except yeast.
Step 4: Make a small indentation on top of the dry ingredients (not so deep it reaches the wet
layer) and add the yeast in the indentation.
This order of adding ingredients is important, especially when using the timer, because it
keeps the yeast away from the liquid ingredients until is time to knead them together. (Liquid
ingredients will activate the yeast.)
Step 5: Inset the Bread Pan in the BREAD MAKER, sit the bread pan in place and click it in
place, close the Lid.
NOTE: Make sure the mark on pan to face the mark on edge of the oven wall.
Step 6: Press the MENU button to choose the cycle you wanted. If the bread maker has not
been unplugged after previous use, the last program setting will appear in the display window
first.
