You should never interrupt the power supply to the access point while a firmware update
is being carried out! This could result in damage to the device.
NOTE
As a precaution, save the device configurations as described in Chapter 8.10.1 Backing up
the device configurations before updating the firmware each time.
NOTE
You can download images for firmware updates for the device from the Wieland eShop.
Only carry out a firmware update if you experience problems with the operation of the
device or if the Wieland Customer Support requests you to carry out an update. Also take
into account the information available at the Wieland eShop regarding firmware updates of
your model version.

Restart
You can restart the access point at any time via the
Reboot
menu point in the
System
menu. Select the
Perform
reboot
link for this purpose. Wait until the STATUS LED (green) remains on (after approximately 35 seconds).
8.12
System log
When selecting the
System Log
menu point in the
Status
menu, you will see the log file compiled by the access
point operating system. The information in the system log may help you find faults while operating the device.
8.13
Realtime Graphs
When selecting the
Realtime Graphs
menu point from the
Status
menu, you will have access to real-time
information about the system load, traffic and signal strength, as well as the active TCP and UDP connections of
the access point.
