Observe sequence when starting the machine
•
Set the accelerator to third or half throttle and then switch on the mower unit, in order to prevent damaging of the PTO
coupling.
•
When mowing always operate the engine at full throttle, in order to achieve the best engine performance and cutting
resuluts.
•
Before switching off throttle down.
•
For switching on and off see the operating instructions of the tractor.

Information for operation
7.4.1
Instructions for mowing
•
Mow only dry grass..
Wet grass can lead to the mower unit or the suction device getting blocked and also to grass clods being left behind.
•
Before mowing remove any foreign objects from the lawn.
•
When mowing look out for foreign objects.
•
If the mower unit is turning up the ground permanently, the cutting height may be too low for these ground conditions
(lawn area with numerous small hills).
•
Across hills and trenches drive slowly and keep a straight direction.
7.4.2
Instructions for mulching
•
Mulch only dry grass and leaves.
•
Lower your driving speed, since mulching requires more engine power.
•
Cut off max 1/3 of grass height.
•
Cut more often to avoid too much grass and leaves staying within the mower deck.
•
Mulching with wet or humid grass and leaves can lead to various problems.
•
Grass and leaves can collect at the bottom side of the mower unit.
•
Grass and leaves can form clods and thus not being spread evenly.
•
Grass and leaves will not be cut to small pieces.
•
Change the mowing direction with each mowing operation.
•
Work only with sharp blades. Check frequently. Blunt blades tear off the leaf of grass with the spires becoming brown.
•
Keep the bottom side of the mower unit clean.
•
Clean the mower after every operation.
