Hold both halves of the cardan shaft (
1 + 2
) next to
each other in the shortest operating position in relation
to the attached equipment.
➢
Mark an intersecting line (

) on the outer profile of the
half of the cardan shaft (
1
).
➢
Crop the outer profile of the half of the cardan shaft (
1
)
at the intersecting line (
3
).
➢
Mark the same value (
X
) on the inner profile of the
half of the cardan shaft (1).
➢
Crop the inner profile of the half of the cardan shaft (
1
)
at the new intersecting line (
3
).
➢
Deburr and round off all separating edges.
➢
Clean both halves of the cardan shaft carefully.
➢
Grease both halves of the cardan shaft carefully.
➢
Assemble and install the cardan shafts.

Setting the lean mower
➢
Place tractor with lawn mower on a flat surface.
➢
Using the tractor hydraulic system, lower the lawn
mower to the ground.
The adjustment is made with the top connecting rod.
➢
Turn the top connecting rod until the pin (
1
) in the
middle of the elongated hole (
2
) is at the limiting bars.
This setting allows the lawn mower to adapt to ground
irregularities.
