contacts/connectors.

Make sure that the unit is plugged in to
the power outlet; check if the
evaporator fan.

Make sure that the air damper is able
to close and open properly.

Temperature requirements for
both freezer and refrigerator
compartment are not being
reached

Check for refrigerant leaks

Check for gasket leaks on both freezer
and refrigerator doors

Check if condenser fan is working
properly.

A very loud noise is heard
during operation

The evaporator fan motor is causing
the loud noise.

Remove the evaporator cover and the
freezer fan channel; check if the fan
blades rubbing with other components
or objects; if it is, make sure that the
fan assembly is in its right position and
if the fan blades are not worn out.

The condenser fan motor is causing the
loud noise.

Check the fan motor is right position or
not.

If the motor in right position and a loud
noise is still heard during operation,
change it to a new one.

A loud noise is heard from the
compressor during operation.

Check for worn out shock pad/gasket, if
it is, replace it with a new one.

If a loud noise is still heard, replace
compressor with a new one.

A loud noise is heard from refrigerant
flow.

Need to take out all refrigerants and re-
inject it.

Other noise  is heard from  compressor
cabinet

Check each pipe and make sure the
pipes do not rub with another.

Door gasket does not stick to
the cabinet

Turn off the unit, use an electric hair
dryer to heat the gasket, in order to
soften it.

If the method above does not work,
change the gasket.

If the two methods above still failed,
remove the door and remove the lower
hinge shims to adjust the door box
spacing.
