4.8. Using the smart key*

The smart key can be used to lock and unlock the device.

* Sold separately. Equipped with standard items depending on the area/countries.

• For the instructions to change the smart key battery, refer to “8.2. Replacing the smart key battery” on page

4.8.1.

Locking

1.

Press the smart key lock button.

The smart key LED illuminates, and the icon indicating
the locked status appears on the display, while making
the lock sound. The device is now locked.

• If you attempt to turn the device on when the

device is locked, the icon indicating the locked
status appears on the display, and then the power
turns off. The device cannot be started.

• Always carry the smart key with you. Although it

is possible to lock or unlock the device through a
smartphone app, it will not be possible to lock or
unlock the device if the smartphone battery runs
out.
