Using Wireless LAN
• The wireless LAN uses radio waves to communicate the information, therefore, it will
be advantageous if a LAN connection is freely available within the area that radio
waves can reach. At the same time, there is a possibility that third parties with ill intent
may be able to intercept communications and/or gain access to the information if
appropriate security is not maintained. It is recommended that the customer sets the
security level and uses the device under their own judgment and responsibility.
•
Available channels on this device differ by country.
• In some countries, use of wireless LAN is restricted. Check the laws and regulations
of the country and region in which the wireless LAN is intended to be used in advance.
•
The wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11n / a / ac) of this device uses the 5GHz band. The Ra
-
dio Law prohibits outdoor use of the 5.2 GHz band and 5.3 GHz band (except when
communicating with access points or relay stations of 5.2 GHz band high-power data
communication systems).
• The following channels are used by this device.
Japan
-5.2 GHz band: 36/38/40/42/44/46/48
-5.3 GHz band: 52/54/56/58/60/62/64
-5.6 GHz band: 100/102/104/106/108/110/112/116/118/120/122/124/126/128/132/

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) of this device
The neckband-type computer (NBC) [model code: WL-03ANBZ] of this device complies
with the national technical standards for absorption of radio waves into the human body
and international guidelines for protection against radio waves.
This data communication terminal is designed to comply with the national technical stan-
dards (*) for absorption of radio waves into the human body and the allowable values for
protection against radio waves recommended by the equivalent international guidelines.
These international guidelines are defined by the International Commission on Non-Ion
-
izing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which cooperates with the World Health Organiza
-
tion (WHO), and its allowable value includes a sufficient safety factor regardless of the
age and health condition of the user.
