Safety Notes
Unqualified persons are not allowed to use the engine support bar.
Use the engine support bar for its intended use, only for lifting vehicle
engines. Never use the support bar to transport loads!
Make sure the vehicle’s lip structure strength is suitable to support the engine
support bar. The lip structure surface must be flat to prevent slippage of the
engine support bar.
Inspect the mounting areas of the vehicle’s lip structure to determine the
strongest spot on which to mount the engine support bar. Do not place the
standing brackets (11) with the rubber sleeves (12) on the fenders (in order
not do damage the paint) but place them only on the inner side of the lip
structure on the bulkhead (top fender’s mounting point) or on the shock
absorber assembly.
To prevent inadvertent rolling, secure the vehicle before using the engine
support bar.
Do not use the engine support bar if there is risk of spillage of fuel or other
dangerous substances.
Once the engine support bar is correctly positioned, tighten all bolts (7) and
the milled screws (2) in order to stabilize the support bar.
Do not work under a raised engine!
Do not exceed the rated capacity of this engine support bar.
Attach the engine to the support bar by wrapping the load chains (14) around
the engine and attach the chains to the load hooks. For lifting the engine, turn
the grip handles (5).
Periodically clean and lubricate the threads of all parts.
Store the engine support bar in a dry place and protect it from moisture.
Modifying and altering the engine support bar is not permitted. For any
damages caused by improper use of the engine support bar we do not
assume liability.
Do not use the engine support bar if any parts are bent or damaged.
