4.3 User provided cables
To connect to the public network, the customer must provide networking cables that are compatible with
the SFP+ transceivers that are installed in the rear of each System Node. The transceivers require a multi-
mode, duplex, fiber optic cable (50/125) with an LC connector at the appliance end of the cable. The fiber
type of the cable will depend on the length of cable required. The rack to rack cable must be an OM3 MPO
Type-B female to female cable. If rack to rack connectivity uses the customer infrastructure, Type-A,
Type-B, or Type-C cables may be required.
