1. Align the replacement PSU to the empty slot.
2. Push with even pressure until there is an audible click.
3. Plug the power cord into the new PSU.
4. Replace the blanking panels at the front of the system.
3.2.3 Replacing QSFP+ 40G transceivers

3.2.3.1 Removing a System Interconnect QSFP+ 40G transceiver
To remove a QSFP+ 40G transceiver:
1. From the rear of the rack, remove the fiber optic cable from the failed transceiver.
2. Pull the transceiver loop until it is unseated from the port.
3. Remove the transceiver from the System Interconnect.
4. Record the serial number of the faulty component for return purposes.
