NIU QUERY AND RESPONSES VIA TL1 COMMANDS

APPENDIX C

1. TL1 Commands

TL1 Command and responses are transmitted in the Facility Data Link using the command SND−CMD−FDL via the
modified LAPB protocol. Below is a short glossary of characters used in the TL1 Command:

<lf>Line Feed

^Space

<ctag>

Correlation tag. This is an optional field and may be left blank

ED-T1 Command

This command is used to provision the PROACT unit

Command:

ED

T1:::<ctag>:::<optnm>=<optstg>;

Example: Set Transmit LBO=7.5 dB

ED

T1::::::WSTTXLBO=7.5;

RTRV-T1 Command

This command is used to query the provision settings on the PROACT unit

Command:
