Type 4 Safety Light Curtain

7.6 Start-Up and Restart Inhibit Without Contactor Monitoring

NOTE!

Make sure that the ESPE is ideally aligned. This is easiest to see in the “safety mode without

contactor monitoring” configuration

(see section “7.1 Initial Start-Up” on page 37)

Procedure:

Wire the emitter.

Disconnect supply power.

Connect supply power.

Acknowledge the confirmation prompt

in order to enable the OSSD outputs.

DIAG3 lights up.

Pass a test object through the safety field

(beginning at the sensor connection on

the control panel side up to the other end)

within 30 seconds.
