Chain Tension - Discharge Conveyor Auto-Adjust
The auto-adjust cycle automatically tensions the discharge
conveyor chain tension by actuating chain tension
cylinders on the conveyor. As the cylinders extend, torque
arm

near the headshaft moves pin

. The pin will engage the appropriate notch.
Chain wear will cause the pin to engage the last notch. At
this point if chain sag measures out of range, chain
requires service such as removal of a link or replacement
by a Weiler dealer. Measure chain sag monthly or every
150 service hours. Refer to
, for procedures.
40-Hour Auto-Adjust Cycle
Every 40 service hours, upon machine start-up the
operator is prompted to start the auto-adjust cycle.
In order for the auto-adjust cycle to run:
• discharge conveyor must be running
• discharge conveyor hydraulic pressure must be <
1500 psi (103.4 bar)
Pressing “Cancel” on any step will cancel the chain tension
cycle until machine is turned off and re-started. Press OK
to proceed to next step.
Follow screen prompts to complete the chain tension process:
