Creating and Saving a New Base Configuration
You can save a switch configuration as a project file and use it to configure multiple
switches. You also can easily edit a saved configuration and
save it as a separate
project file . Weed provides a default project file in your projects folder (created during
install) that offers several ring configurations to help you get started. Or you can create
your own configurations by simply following the directions below.
When creating a new base configuration, use the Save command to keep this project file
for future use. To use this time-saving feature:
1. Create a base configuration that you wish to save by using the base
configuration windows , as described later in this chapter.
2. Use Auto-Find Switches to easily find and add switches to your project.
