Operating the BlueCool Truck System
To ensure maximum duration of sleeping comfort, the following recommendations
should be observed:
• Precool the vehicle interior using the vehicle’s air conditioning system
before using the BlueCool Truck system.
• Conserve cooling energy by closing the divider curtains and lowering the
upper bunk bed, if equipped, to reduce the area around the lower bunk
bed.
Control Panel “Off”:
The blower fans are off when knob (A) is turned
fully counterclockwise and the LED is off.
Whenever the fan control knob (A) is turned on,
the green LED (C) will illuminate.
Note:
With knob (A) fully turned to the off
position, the charging cycle can still run when needed if the vehicle ignition is “on”
for 30 minutes or more or if optional Shore Power is connected to land based power.
Important!
After the completion of a charging cycle, the control panel will remain inactive
regardless of where the control knobs were set during previous use. The control
knobs must be returned to the off position to reset the control panel before further
use.
“Operational” Mode:
Adjust the blower speed by turning the fan
control knob (A) to the desired setting. Turn
clockwise to increase the fan speed. Whenever
the fan control knob is turned on, the green LED
(C) will illuminate. Turn the temperature control
knob (B) to the desired comfort setting. Turn
clockwise for lower temperature inside the vehicle.
Note:
Recommended setting for best cooling over time is 2 o’clock for both knobs.
“Full On” Mode:
When the controls (A, B) are set at maximum,
the duration of cooling will be shortest.
To increase the amount of time the unit will
provide cooling, set the controls at less than
maximum. The lower the settings the longer
the unit will provide cool air.
“Air Circulation” Mode:
The BlueCool system can be operated in the air
circulation mode when air circulation without
additional cooling is desired.
Turn the temperature control knob (B) fully off.
Adjust the blower speed by turning the fan
control knob (A) to the desired setting.
The green LED (C) will be illuminated.
