INFORMATION AND TIPS
Activate the easyRESCUE in case of distress only.
Please keep in mind that vessels in your proximity
receive the easyRESCUE message in test mode as
well; however with the notification “SART TEST”.
It could still be disturbing for the adjacent vessels.
The battery capacity allows 30 tests within 5 years
without having a restricting effect on the
operation time of 96 h in case of distress.
Please make sure that the easyRESCUE has line of
sight to the sky to ensure proper GPS-reception.
This is why the tests should be conducted aloft.

MAINTENANCE
The easyRESCUE requires the following maintenance:
At least every year (or even every six month),
easyRESCUE (version A040 / A049 / A040-BW-COM)
should be activated into test mode (i.e. pressing the
“TEST” button). The device should be located, where
GPS signals can be received (normally outside). The
flashing GPS indicator shows, that GPS position is
available.
