6.1 ALERT
6.1.1 Automatic Activation (only A10901)
The AIS/DSC MOB easyONE-DSC
CL
is designed for carrying it in
an automatic life jacket. If falling into the water, the life jacket
opens and the floating body inflates due to the water contact.
As a result, the transmitter gets into the water and the an-
tenna is released. If the antenna is unfolded, two contacts are
exposed through which the transmitter activates inde-
pendently upon concurrent water contact.
The white FLASH LED (11) and the yellow GPS Status LED (10)
are indicating the operating status.
IMPORTANT: Only the easyONE-DSC
CL
(A10901) can be trig-
gered automatically.
6.1.2 Manual Activation
For manual activation, the alarm flap (4) is torn off from the
device by using the yellow seizing (9). As a result the rolled up
and taut antenna (5) can unfold. The “ON” button (8) is now
exposed and can be pressed in order to trigger the emergency
signal.
When activating manually,
keep the device away from your face!
IMPORTANT: The easyONE-DSC
CL
-M (A10902) can only be trig-
gered manually.
