RECOMMENDATION:
If a long time has passed between uses, shift the BeHear PROXY neck speaker Power button
briefly to initiate reconnection to the paired Bluetooth device – HearLink PLUS transmitter
or/and the smartphone.
BeHear PROXY neck speaker supports two typical connection use cases:
1.
Your BeHear PROXY neck speaker is connected simultaneously to a smartphone and to the
HearLink PLUS TV transmitter. The TV audio can be transmitted to your BeHear PROXY neck
speaker, which will also be available to receive/initiate a phone call.
2.
Two BeHear PROXY neck speakers are connected simultaneously to the same HearLink PLUS
TV transmitter. Both users can be listening to TV audio at the same time.
RECOMMENDATION:
Simultaneous operation of two BeHear PROXY neck speakers may be affected by nearby
Bluetooth equipment.
Choose
APTX
or
SBC
audio CODEC in
Settings->Device
menu of the
W&H BeHear
app if you
experience sound distortion in one or both neck speakers.
Selecting Operation Mode
Your BeHear PROXY neck speaker operates in one of two modes:
•
Speakerphone mode
– for open ear listening and mobile phone calls
•
Earphone mode
– for private listening, mobile phone calls, and personal amplification of
ambient sounds
Use the mode switch to set the desired operation mode, as follows:

To select
Speakerphone
mode set the switch to the
position.
•
To select
Earphone
mode set the switch to the
position. Extract the cables
and insert the earphones into your ears.
