Icon Component Function
6 Microphone
Embedded microphone for phone call and ambient sound
amplification.
7 Left retract button Press and hold to retract left earphone
8 Right retract button Press and hold to retract right earphone
9 Micro-USB port
Open the cover to insert the supplied cable to charge the
battery.
10 Power button
Shift and hold to turn BeHear PROXY on and off.
Shift briefly to show battery level (when BeHear PROXY is on).
11 Mode switch
Switch between speakerphone and earphone operation modes.

Earphones
(left and right)
Pull the earphones gently to extract the cables and then place
them in your ears.
13 Silicone ear buds Mushroom type; extra-small, small, medium, large sizes
Conical type; small, medium, large sizes
Tulip (open fit) type; medium size
Tube (open ear) type; extra-small size
14 Serial number label Unique number identifying the BeHear PROXY neck speaker in
the Connection screen of the W&H BeHear smartphone
application
Note: You can modify functions for each button to make it convenient for frequently-used actions and
avoid unintentional changes.

app as described in the Using BeHear PROXY section.
