7 Maintenance and care License upgrade

7.5 License upgrade
You can import licenses, which will then unlock additional
functions for your instrument. For this you need a valid li-
cense file (extension .
mlp ).
Note
You can use a free trial license to test the ex-
tended range of functions for a limited time
period.
You can import the license file from a USB stick to the
instrument.
– If necessary copy the license file into the root directo-
ry of the USB stick and insert the USB stick into the
socket on the top of the instrument (see page 54).
– Access the General settings menu via the Main
menu (see page 68).
– Select License from the left column.
– Tap on Upgrade .
– Select the source USB .
– Select the license file and tap on Upgrade .
After successful import the new license is shown next to
the
Upgrade button ( My Device Model ).
