5 Operation Encoder Cal

Encoder Type
You must select the encoder type depending on the
scanner system you are using and the encoders in-
stalled.
Select Directional or Quadrature for each axis de-
pending on the encoder. One can be used for the scan
axis, the other for the index axis.
Encoder Axis
You must select which axis is equipped with an encoder.
The standard setting is
Scan (one encoder for the scan
axis). Select Both for systems with two encoders, one
for the scan axis and one for the index axis.
Encoder Dir. X
Set the moving direction of the encoder on the X-axis.
Normal
The moving on the scan axis is from left to right.
Reversed
The moving on the scan axis is from right to left.
Encoder Dir. Y
Normal
The moving on the index axis is from the bottom to the
top.
Reversed
The moving on the index axis is from the top to the bot-
tom.
