5 Operation General settings

Device Registration
You can register your instrument for InspectionWorks ,
a cloud service hosted by Waygate Techologies.
Among other things, this platform provides device man-
agement, data storage in cloud, and an app store.
For registration you must enter the license key you re-
ceive when you sign up for an
InspectionWorks ac-
count (https://www.inspectionworks.com/).
Once an instrument is registered with Inspection-
Works , you can manage it on the website and, among
other things, exchange data as import and export be-
tween the instrument and
InspectionWorks (see from
page 253).
For more information about the platform, please visit
https://www.inspectionworks.com/.
You can log out an instrument from InspectionWorks
at any time. Once the instrument is logged out, it will no
longer be able to access the cloud service and associ-
ated features.
If your instrument is already registered, the status
Registered is marked with a red dot.
