Power Distribution Board (PDB)
The PDB
accepts a 36VDC voltage from the power supply and steps it up or down
to provide appropriate housekeeping and rail voltages for distribution within the
system.
The PDB includes the following features:
•
Maximum charge current 4A
•
Over current protection
•
Protection against overcharging and deep discharge
The 36 VDC input to the PDB is converted and distributed as follows:
•
Steps the 36 VDC up to +48 VDC and distributes as follows:
+48 VDC to the Fan Assembly,
+48VDC to the Amplifier Board to power the Amplifier circuitry and AMP
Drivers
+48VDC Battery Charge voltage to the four 12VDC Back-up Batteries
•
Steps the 36 VDC down to +15 VDC and distributes as follows:
•
+15VDC to the Amplifier Board and Controller
