Testing the System
7.3.5 Announce a Live Voice Test Message Using the Optional
HPSA-MIC
If the optional HPSA-MIC has been installed, follow the instructions in this section to
announce a live voice test message using the microphone.
1. Notify any personnel in the area that a test is upcoming and apply sufficient ear
protection.
2. Ensure the Master Volume is reduce to avoid feedback.
3. Remove the microphone from its storage clip.
4. Press and hold down the Push-to-Talk (
PTT ) button.

THE CABINET. CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO AVOID FEEDBACK.
FEEDBACK MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
