10. Disassembly
DANGER
Electric voltage!
There is danger to life when work-
ing on electrical components.
•
Work on electrical connections should
only be carried out by qualified electri-
cians with the supply voltage switched
off and secured against reconnection.
WARNING
Installation works
There is a risk of injury if this prod-
uct is not properly installed, disas-
sembled and put into operation.
•
Make sure the personnel has received
the appropriate training.
•
Observe the safety instructions in
„Chapter 2. Safety“.
10.1 Disassembly of the actuator
For information on disassembling the actu-
ator, refer to the manufacturer documenta-
tion supplied with the actuator.
10.2 Dismantling the butterfly valve
from the pipeline
If the unit is to be replaced by a structurally
identical one, proceed as follows:
1.
Move the valve disc to the closed po-
sition.
2.
Loosen the flanges. Press the pipelines
apart until the valve is free. Carefully pull
it out of the pipeline and make sure that
you do not damage the gasket.
11. Disposal
•
Proper disposal of the products is the
responsibility of the customer. Dispose
of the products after their use in accord-
ance with the legal requirements regard-
ing safety and environmental protection.
•
The materials used in the products are
steel, aluminum, brass, copper and var-
ious plastics.
Dispose of lubricated parts separately ac-
cording to local environmental regulations!
