Indicator Flag

You are required to consult the local building and plumbing
codes prior to installation. If the information in this manual
is not consistent with local building or plumbing codes,
the local codes should be followed. Inquire with governing
authorities for additional local requirements.

NOTE: Tightening the set screw will rotate the indicator flag
stop counter clockwise. Loosening the set screw will rotate the
indicator flag stop clockwise.
1. It is important that the indicator flag on the shutoff valve is
fully parallel to the flow of water to make sure the shutoff
valve will properly open.
2. To adjust the indicator flag to its proper open position loosen
or tighten the set screw on the left side of the downstream
side of the gear box.
3. Using the handle adjust the indicator flag clockwise or
counter clockwise to align the indicator flag parallel to the
flow of water.
4. Once the indicator flag has been adjusted to fully open
retighten the set screw.
