6.10 AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT
The Innovation heater is equipped with an air filter (P/N
59138
) which should be cleaned or
replaced every 12 months. The air filter is located at the inlet of the air fuel valve as shown in
Figure 6-10.
To inspect/replace the air filter, proceed as follows:
Air Filter Replacement
1.
Set the ON/OFF switch on the control panel, to the
OFF
position. Disconnect AC power
from the unit
2.
Remove the side panels from the unit.
3.
Refer to Figure 6-10 and locate the air filter attached to the air/fuel valve inlet.
4.
Using a flat-tip screwdriver or 5/16 nut driver, loosen the clamp securing the filter to the inlet
flange of the air/fuel valve. Remove the filter and clamp.
5.
Each replacement air filter is equipped with its own clamp. Therefore, simply install the
replacement air filter on inlet flange of the air fuel valve and tighten the clamp with a flat-tip
screwdriver or 5/16 nut driver.
6.
Replace the side panels on the unit and return heater to service use.
