4. Unfasten the source enclosure door’s securing clips and open the door.
5. If no corona pin is fitted, use the needle-nose pliers to remove the
blanking plug from the corona pin mounting contact.
Tip:
Store the blanking plug in a safe location.
6. If the dual APPI/APCI corona pin is fitted, use the needle-nose pliers to
remove the pin.

Store the dual APPI/APCI corona pin in a safe location.

powder-free gloves while handling the components.The
probe and source may be contaminated with biologically
hazardous materials.
