To make the HPLC pump and column connections
1. On the MassLynx Tune window, click Press for Standby, and confirm
that the instrument status indicator is red.
2. Complete the connections between the HPLC pump, syringe pump, and
APCI probe.

3. Set up the HPLC pump with LC mobile phase (methanol at 200 µL/min).

To avoid self-contamination with toxic and
biohazardous materials, always wear chemical-resistant,
powder-free gloves while handling the components. The
HPLC pump and column connections may be contaminated
with biologically hazardous materials.

To avoid electric shock, ensure that the instrument is
in standby before making the connections between the HPLC
pump, LC column, syringe pump, and APCI probe.

To avoid possible high-pressure liquid jet spray, wear
safety goggles when making the connections between the HPLC
