Resolving leak sensor errors
After approximately 1.5 mL of liquid accumulates in the leak sensor reservoir,
an alarm sounds, indicating that the leak sensor detected a leak.
Warning:
To prevent injury, always observe Good Laboratory Practices
when you handle solvents, change tubing, or operate the ISM. Consult
the Material Safety Data Sheets regarding the solvents you use.
Warning:
To avoid personal contamination with biohazards,
compounds that are toxic or corrosive, or the residues of such
compounds, wear clean, chemical-resistant, powder-free
gloves when reinstalling fittings.
Caution:
To avoid scratching or otherwise damaging the leak sensor,
• do not allow buffered solvents to accumulate and dry on it;
• do not submerge it in a cleaning bath.
