The Bottles Prohibited symbol alerts you to the risk of equipment damage caused by
solvent spills.
Prohibited:
To avoid equipment damage caused by spilled solvent, do not
place reservoir bottles directly atop an instrument or device or on its front
ledge. Instead, place the bottles in the bottle tray, which serves as
secondary containment in the event of spills.
A.4 Required protection
The Use Eye Protection and Wear Protective Gloves symbols alert you to the
requirement for personal protective equipment. Select appropriate protective
equipment according to your organization’s standard operating procedures.
