Instructions for Programmable Wired Controller
(model: R8C.963)
How to set it:
On & Off:
To turn the controller on or off, press and hold the home/power button for three seconds.
•
When the controller is off, it shows ‘OFF’ in the
top right corner of the screen.
•
When the controller is on, the wifi symbol will be in the top right corner of the screen (if it is not connected
to the wifi, this symbol will have a line through it).
Set up the current time and day:
•
Press
‘
enter
’
to go into the menu, and then use the dial to scroll through the menu to ‘
System S
ettings’.
Press
‘
enter
’
again to open this.
•
Use
the dial to scroll down to ‘Date/Time Settings’ and press ‘enter’ to select this option.
Select either date
or time and use the dial to select the correct
date and time. Once they are correct use the ‘back’ button to
save the settings and return to the home screen.
Note
: Connecting to wifi will ensure the date/time will save even if there is a power outage. Otherwise, the date and
time will have to be reset every time the controller loses power.
Set up the temperature program:
•
Press ‘enter’ to go into the menu, and then use the dial to scroll through the menu to ‘Auto Mode’. Press
‘enter’ again to open this.
•
Select
‘Weekly Programming’. Here you can select either weekday or weekend mode and then within these
options adjust th
e times and temperatures within your schedule by pressing ‘enter’ to select each time and
then use the dial to change both the time and temperature. Pressing ‘back’ will save your selections and
return you to the previous page.
Maintain a set temperature at all times
•
When in floor heating mode (press ‘mode’ to select the correct mode if it is not already in this), press ‘back’
to switch to manual mode.
•
Use the dial to set the desired temperature. The system will maintain this temperature until you switch it
back to auto mode and then the temperature program will take over again.
Note:
If you have connected the app, you will be able to control these settings from your phone.
