Flexible coupling
The generator can be directly coupled to an engine by means of a
flexible coupling with a spider (rubber) insert, available from
industrial supply sources. See Figure 3-6.
CAUTION
Improper installation can result in equipment damage and
severe injury.

When connecting the engine and generator with a coupler,
always use a spider insert.

Align the engine and generator precisely.
