1.6 Potential problems and how to tackle them

Actions to be in chimney fire
Chimney fire may occur upon the improper cleaning of the chimney, the use of in-
appropriate fuels (e.g. excessively wet wood) or the inadequate setting of the burn-
ing air. In such cases, close the burning air at the fire, and call the fire service.
Never try to extinguish the fire with water!
