6.4 Transport

IMPORTANT! Make sure that the skidding plate is raised off
the ground before transport.

•

Comply with local laws governing safety and transport of
machinery on public roads.

•

Do not exceed a safe travel speed. Slow down for rough
terrain.

•

Make sure that the skidding plate is hitched securely to
the tractor and the lynch pins are installed through the
mounting pins.

•

Never allow riders on the equipment.

•

Be a safe and courteous driver. Always yield to oncoming
traffic in all situations, including narrow bridges and
intersections.

•

Watch for traffic when near or crossing roadways.

•

Do not drive while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication,
or lack of sleep.
