Set-top Box
Cornerstone Group © 2016
Each set-top box has several configuration
options. In addition to your cable set-top
box, you will also need the following:
•
Coaxial Cable
- to connect to the cable set-top box
from your cable wall outlet.
•
HDMI
or
Component Cables
- for the best possible
audio and video quality as well as ease of installation,
we recommend using an HDMI cable.
•
Power Adapter
and
Remote Control
- for your
cable set-top box.
Please follow
these steps:
1.
Connect the coaxial cable from your cable wall outlet to the
“cable in” port on the back of the set-top box, making sure
that the connections are tight.
2
. Connect your HDMI (or component cables) to the HDMI port
on the back of the set-top box and the HDMI port on your TV.
3.
Connect the power cord to the set-top box and your electrical
wall outlet.
4.
Turn on your TV and select the appropriate video input
(HDMI or other input should match the port you used on
your TV). For example HDMI 1 or HDMI 2.
