2.3 USB Keyboard

Operating the update software on the IPC is done via USB keyboard. The
internal USB ports of the WAGO-I/O-IPC support USB 1.1. The keyboard is
automatically recognized and ready to use when connected to the WAGO-I/O-
IPC. Using a lower priced keyboard is adequate for this purpose.

2.4 DVI Connection

To display the processes on the WAGO-I/O-IPC procedures, a visualization
must be created via DVI interface. This can be done by directly connecting a
DVI monitor or using a DVI => VGA adapter ( price approx. $10.00).
Furthermore, any standard VGA PC monitor can be connected to the IPC.

2.5  Update Tool Under Windows

A small program called "PhysDiskWrite.exe" is required to program the CF
card or to create a boot capable CF card from a Windows based system. This
command line program copies the update image (created on a GNU
development environment) to the CF card placed in the reader. The way the
card is created is described in the following section.
