10.5.1.3 SNMP Trap
The industrial managed switch provides a trap function that allows the switch to send no-
tification to agents with SNMP traps or inform. The notifications are based on the status
changes of the switch such as link up, link down, warm start, and cold start. For inform
mode, after sending SNMP inform requests, the switch will resends inform request if it
does not receive response within 10 seconds. The switch will try re-send three times. Fig-
