2.1.1.2 Description 

The digital input module 750-440 receives control signals from digital field 
devices (sensors, switches, etc.). 

The module is a 1-conductor device and has four input channels.  
Four 1-conductor sensors may be directly connected to signal input  
DI 1, ... DI 4. 

The status of the input channels is indicated via status LEDs.  

An optocoupler is used for electrical isolation between the bus and the field 
side. 

Any configuration of the input modules is possible when designing the 
fieldbus node. Grouping of module types is not necessary. 

 

Attention 

An additional supply module must be added for the field supply with AC 
120(230) V! 

The supply voltage for the field side is made automatically through the 
individual I/O modules by means of power jumper contacts. 

 

Warning 

The maximum current of the internal power jumper contacts is 10 A. When 
configuring the system it is important not to exceed the maximum/sum 
current. However, if such a case should occur, another supply module must be 
added. 

The digital input module 750-440 can be used with all couplers/controllers of 
the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750.
