CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
8.1
CLEANING
8.1.1 CLEANING PERSONNEL
Cleaning work should be undertaken regularly and carefully by qualified and trained personnel.
Before starting cleaning work, switch off system and secure against accidental start-ups
(lock controller's main switch). Information about specific hazards should be provided in
the instruction session.
The following hazards may arise during cleaning work:
– health hazard from inhaling powder lacquer,
– use of unsuitable cleaning tools and aids.
8.1.2 CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER
Explosive mixtures with air!
Danger to life and equipment damage.
Cleaning agents can form explosive mixtures with air!
Ensure that there is adequate ventilation, by leaving on the exhaust system.
8.1.3 CLEANING PROCEDURES
The cleaning intervals should be adapted by the operator depending on the level of use
and if necessary the level of soiling.
If in doubt, we recommend contacting WAGNER's specialist personnel.
The valid health and safety specifications and the safety instructions provided in Chapter
must be adhered to for all cleaning work.
8.2
MAINTENANCE
8.2.1 MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL
Maintenance work should be undertaken regularly and carefully by qualified and trained
personnel. They should be informed of specific hazards during their training.
The following hazards may arise during maintenance work:
– health hazard from inhaling powder lacquer,
– use of unsuitable tools and aids.
A skilled person must ensure that the device is checked for being in a reliable state after
maintenance work is completed.
