CUSTOMIZING PEN MODE AND OPTIONS
Select the P
EN
tab to change the functions assigned to the switch and tip of your pen.

Select the functions to perform
when pressing the pen switch.
When you bring the pen tip within
5 mm (0.2 inch) of the pen display
screen surface without touching
the screen and press the pen
switch, the selected function
occurs.
Tip:
To make double-clicking
easier, set the switch to
double-click automatically
by selecting D

Double-click here to change the function

Note: The tip must be set to C

order to draw in most graphics
applications.
You can change the S

fit the way you like to use the pen when making
right-clicks or other click functions.
To access the S

settings, click
on the O
PTIONS
... button at the bottom of the
main Control Panel. In the O
PTIONS
dialog box:

to perform click
functions without touching the pen tip to
the pen display screen surface.

is selected, you must
press the pen switch while touching the
pen tip to the pen display screen surface in
order to perform a click function. C
LICK
&
T
AP
enables the precise placement of your
click functions, and is the default setting for
Tablet PCs.
•
Choose Right or Left for right-handed or
left-handed orientation.
•
On the DTU-1031X, use the Brightness
Adjustment slider to set your preferred
brightness for the screen.
•
On the DTU-1141, adjust the brightness
with the brightness control in the
DisplayLink control panel.
