8.5 Removing jammed ties
Removing jammed ties from the outside
1. Pull the handle right back to the stop.
2. Hook the tie tabs of the jammed tie into each other.
3. Grip the tie tabs using pliers and carefully pull forwards out of the tie outlet
guides. The tie will turn in a spiral manner.
4. Detach the tie from the twisting hook and remove.
CAUTION
Injury due to protruding metal ends on a bent tie.
