Air filter (1001/1501: from serial no. EA01743)
Replacing the air filter
The air filter elements must be replaced:
• If the yellow piston

in dirt indicator

reaches the red service mark

• Every 1000 operating hours or once a year at the latest.

Park the machine, stop the engine, remove the starting key and carry it with you.

Open the engine cover.

Remove dirt and dust from the air filter housing and the area around it.

Fold bow clips

on lower housing section

to the outside.

Remove lower housing section

Carefully remove outside filter

with slightly turning movements.

Ensure that all contamination (dust) inside the upper and lower housing sections
(including the dust valve) has been removed.

Clean the parts with a clean lint-free cloth, do not use compressed air.

Carefully remove inside filter

with slightly turning movements.

Check the new inside filter
H
and outside filter

for damage and carefully insert
them in the air filter housing.

Close bow clips

Ensure that dust valve

shows downward once it is installed.

After replacing the filters, press button
J
to reset the yellow piston
