Diagram of the 4 thread guide paths
Threading
8 Threading
Four threads must be threaded in order to sew four-thread seams. To
facilitate the correct threading of the cover, the sequence of the threads to
be threaded is marked with the numbers 1-2-3-4 and the thread guide path
is marked with coloured marking points.
This sequence applies to all stitch types und must be strictly adhered to.
•
1. BROWN thread guide path (lower looper)
•
2. GREEN thread guide path (needle thread E)
•
3. BLUE thread guide path (needle thread D)
•
4. ORANGE thread guide path (needle thread C)
W6 tip
The terms brown, green, blue and orange threads are used in the text
below. These do not refer to the actual colours of the threads (which
obviously may be of any colour) but to the coloured stripes of the four dials
of the thread tension.
W6 tip
Always keep strictly to the sequence when threading the threads.
Not adhering to the sequence leads to an incorrect seam pattern of the
cover.
