7.2 Removing needles

W6 tip

The cover sews with up to three needles. One for the orange, one for the

blue and one for the green thread. As the removal process of the needles is

identical, the procedure used for only one needle is described here.

Prerequisite:

•

The Allen key is ready for use.

Risk of injury posed by unexpected start-up

The foot controller is on the floor. This can lead to the cover starting up

unexpectedly if the foot controller is activated by, for example, a child, a

sufficiently heavy pet, an object or accidental pressing by the user

themselves.

Always unplug the power plug before changing a needle.

Risk of injury posed by breaking needles

If the needle is inserted incorrectly, it can break and damage the cover.

There is a risk of injury posed by uncontrollably moving parts.

►

Always change the needle in the manner described.

Please proceed as follows:

Turn the
